For the attention of the European Fans who travelled around to see Garbage from the beautifulgarbage tour onwards.

For anyone that knows the Dutch Garbage fan Han Gommeren sadly he passed away on Tuesday morning aged just 43.

taken at Astoria, London November 14, 2001 .

Having attended a few gigs (Garbage and non Garbage) with him and many drinking sessions he'll be missed for sure. Thoughts are with his family and fellow Dutch Garbage fans Jan and Michel who are both great friends of Han.

Sad times over here for sure... The good memories of all nights out, lots of gigs and many trips around Europe will always be there!

We'll definately miss him badly... Han, you'll be in our hearts forever!

Michel

Unexpected natural death, the doctors are examining all of it. What counts he's not around anymore, though we'll keep a close eye on what exactly caused it...

Unfortunately i never really got to know Han.
Though we'd been at the same gigs a few times,we only talked briefly after a great time in Amsterdam. However, after always hearing various recollections of the things he got up to with some mutual good friends,i certainly felt an affinity to the guy.
He will surely be missed. My thoughts go out to his family & friends.

That was a truly shocking and sad piece of news we all had to take in. We've heard great stories of the Dutch trio and realise that things will not be the same for those who are left behind.

Our thoughts are with Han's family and friends..

'the trick is to keep breathing'....

Thanks for all the kind words, the support from all over Europe means a lot for us. Now we feel a little less lost and alone without our friend...

At the cremation on Monday oct 2 the Flying dutchman and me will give a little speech, and then Soldier Through This will be played. (Loud we hope!).

Thanks again and hope to see you al soon.
